You can create a showreel from whole videos or sections of videos. The system uses the transcription copy to break up the content.

To create a video from selected sections:

  1. Add the videos you want to the carousel (See Create a new showreel)
  2. Click on the arrow right to the video you want to edit to view the snippets created for this particular video response
    1. Click into the small video in the 'Responses included' section to hear/play the entire video
    2. Select/deselect the phrases you want to be included in your showreel
    3. If you want to trim the clip, simply adjust the section lengths using the white dots on the edges of the grey/ purple sections
    4. Click the pencil icon to adjust the transcription and save it by clicking on the floppy disc icon.
    5. Add a segment by clicking the plus icon and adding any text you want. (Note: you can only add a segment when the translation toggle is off - you add the segment in the original and it will then automatically appear in the translation of the showreel)
    6. Click the small video response to just hear the clip/s you’ve selected
  3. Edit the order of the videos by dragging/dropping them in the carousel, or by clicking on the two lines under the 'Responses included' section and dragging/dropping videos around. (Note: each video can only be used once in a single showreel and the segments must be played in order.)

  4. Once you are happy with your editing click the 'Process & Save' button

Searching for Keywords in Showreel Transcriptions

You can search for specific words in the videos selected for inclusion in your showreel. Enter your term in the search box, then the occurrences of those words will be highlighted in the transcription text, allowing you to select the relevant sections of the video for inclusion more easily.
