User Roles

There are five types of users on inColor:

  • Project owners who can do anything (create and manage projects)
  • Editors who are invited to participate in editing the survey
  • Viewers who are invited to view the results from relevant projects
  • Transcribers - users with access only to the transcription editor
  • Research participants (respondents) who just see and respond to surveys

As a project owner, you can invite multiple users for collaboration. In order to give access to the user, open the dropdown list in the Survey Dashboard menu and click Share

You can add users to your project/survey and assign them 3 different roles: editors, viewers, and transcribers.
